Thats really cool! I wish I could just hop on the max or tri-met and go. Pretty hard when the only thing they have in newberg is a shuttle bus that take you to Sherwood.

I actually think some of the backgrounds of city and construction make for good stuff. I like old abandoned places the most. I need people to tag along with though. Pose for me or offer instruction. How's PSU? Do they have a photography program at all?

I love it here in SE. Easy to get around with Tri-Met, lots of quirky places (Hawthorne and Belmont) nearby, downtown's just a hop on the 17 away. I'm actually going to PSU right now so sometimes after class I head over to my favorite trifecta of Noodles, Powell's, and Peet's for lunch, books, and tea :-D

Not much in the way of flowers or anything for photography down there right now, but there's plenty of hairy construction if you like photos of the more industrial city life.

Very cool!

Do you like it down there in SE Portland? I have some places downtown I want to hit this spring and summer for photography
